Spag Heddy est l’un des producteurs les plus intéressants de la scène bass du moment et son nouveau morceau “Ernstig”, le confirme.
Alors que de nombreux producteurs de Dubstep utilisent des samples vocaux de Rick et Morty ces jours-ci, Spag Heddy s’est tourné vers un autre chef-d’œuvre d’animation moderne pour son inspiration: One-Punch Man.
Il explique: “The vocal in Ernstig is from a tragic scene of One-Punch Man where the hero Mumen Rider takes his last stand against a villain. He’s a weak hero, who always gets beaten in one punch no matter how hard he tries. Yet he is incredibly determined, with the desire to do good, and never backs down, even at the cost of his own life. I have only watched a little of the show but this really kept hanging in my mind for days, and I wanted to make it the theme of a song. It fit perfectly in this super aggressive project I had started, and Ernstig was born.”
“Ernstig” veut dire “sérieux” en néerlandais le morceau est pleine de suspense portant un sentiment d’urgence et d’importance, avant un bon gros drop vraiment sale et puissant.
